PERSATUAN AUTISM TERENGGANU

Saya dalam rangka mewujudkan PERSATUAN AUTISM TERENGGANU. Pada 18 Dis 2014 yang lepas, saya adakan satu perjumpaan bersama ahli Persatuan Autism Dungun untuk pertama kalinya, namun mungkin kerana masa yang kurang sesuai (musim cuti sekolah) , maka tidak ramai yang dapat hadir. Ini tidak membuat saya putus asa dan mengalah. Dalam usaha menzahirkan Pusat Pendidikan Anak-anak Autism Dungun, saya telah merangka program lain yang akan dijalankan pada 16 Februari 2015 juga di UiTM Dungun, namun keahlian Persatuan ini saya buka kepada semua yang berminat, terutamanya penduduk Terengganu.

World Autism Awareness Day

The seventh annual World Autism Awareness Day is April 2, 2014. Every year, autism organizations around the world celebrate the day with unique fundraising and awareness-raising events.

World Autism Awareness Day has been held every year since 9 September 1989. It was designated by the United NationsGeneral Assembly resolution "62/139. World Autism Awareness Day," adopted on 18 December 2007, proposed by Qatar, and supported by all member states. The resolution had four main components:

• the establishment of 2 April as WAAD
• participation of UN organizations, member states, NGOs and all private & public organizations in WAAD
• raise awareness of autism on all levels in society
• to ask the UN Secretary-General to deliver this message to member states and all other UN organs.

My Challenge as Iman's Caregiver

My day to day  life is full of challenges, coping with my son's behavior. I got to be more patient beside gaining some some new knowledge in Autism World. My son insisted to go to school even at night. When I said the school is closed, he threw his tantrums again and again. Making myself so exhausted. Now I see the need to open an AUTISM CENTRE in Dungun.
